Shayana Kadidal is a Senior Managing Attorney at the Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR) in New York. He is a graduate of Yale Law School and was a law clerk to Judge Kermit Lipez of the US Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
Kadidal began working for CCR in 2001. He has worked on the Guantanamo Global Justice Initiative, coordinating legal representation for Guantanamo detainees. He has handled numerous high profile cases, including challenges to the material support of terrorism statute and the NSA’s warrantless surveillance program.
Kadidal has written for a variety of publications, including The Guardian, the Jurist, and Huffington Post. He is co-author of Articles of Impeachment Against George W. Bush.
