Sean Baker

Biography
Sean Baker is a United States Air Force veteran who worked as a member of the 438th Military Police at Guantanamo Bay. His primary responsibilities were escorting detainees to and from interrogations. On January 24, 2003, during a role-playing exercise to train soldiers in a forced cell extraction (erf), Mr. Baker played the role of a Guantanamo Bay detainee. He was severely beaten by fellow soldiers who believed Mr. Baker was an actual detainee. The incident left Mr. Baker with a brain injury, resultant seizures and extensive hospital treatment.
