Lt. Col. Stephen Abraham bio

Lt. Col. Stephen Abraham is an American lawyer and officer in the United States Army Reserve, and was commissioned in 1981 as an officer in Intelligence Corps. He served with the Office for the Administrative Review of Enemy Combatants from September 2004 through March 2005, and was the first officer to publicly criticize the operations of the Combatant Status Review Tribunals. His affidavit was key to the United States Supreme Court decision in Al Odah v. United States, and subsequently Boumediene v. Bush. Abraham currently works for the law firm Fink & Abraham in Newport Beach, California.
