Col. Lawrence Wilkerson bio

Col. Lawrence Wilkerson is a retired U.S. Army Colonel and former chief of staff to U.S. Secretary of State, Colin Powell. Since his retirement, he has publicly criticized the planning and execution of the Iraq War and the global politics surrounding it. He is the former director of the U.S.-Cuba Policy Initiative with the American Strategy Program at the New America Foundation.
